Home

Dear Crankers Family,

What a year. Wow! All of us at the Castle Rock Crankers are hoping that you and your loved ones are all staying healthy during this amazing time.

Many of you have been asking about our season and we have been waiting for the “Stay at Home” order to end so that we could assess the situation. We had prepared to offer a modified Summer Session #1 but after listening to the legislative rules for the “Safer at Home” stage of reopening our economy, we discovered that our modified plan was not in compliance with the rules. Furthermore, NICA, CHSAA, and the Colorado League are all on hold while we are in this phase of re-entry.

We know it’s a bummer, but we are hoping to begin our Summer Session 2 as planned and kick it off with our Skills Camp 101 scheduled to begin June 8th. All May events are canceled with the possibility of rescheduling some. We are trying to find the best way to do a season informational meeting, so please be on the lookout for either an updated venue once things re-open, or possibly a Zoom invite for a virtual meeting still TBD.

Until then, the trails are open and we encourage you to get out and ride. Also, if you are seeking to get your bike tuned up for the season, be advised that bike shops have very high volumes right now so plan accordingly.

If you have any questions, please reach to Carrie via email or phone. In addition, if you have paid for the first session, Carrie will be reaching out to you with options.

Stay well and see you soon,

Crankers
